Finally-getting some last projects done!

We are having our house warming party this weekend, forcing us to finish some projects. Here is my guest room, there is more to be done but this is a self-made headboard. Very cheap to do! Should have taken a before pic of the room and the valance box, but oh well. Here are the steps.


1.Paint the entire thing.
2.Tape for stripes.
3.Paint.
4.Remove tape while paint is semi-wet.
5.Touch up with felt pad.
6.Mount.

Cost:
Valance Box - $5 garage sale
Curtains - $3 piece at thrift store
Paint - $0 - sample 1/4 pint from Lowes.
Painters tape $.50 dollar store
Bedding we got a while ago for $29.00 on Overstock.
Lamp - $0 found in the street (hehe)
Painting - $0 - is an original from a late cousin of my fathers mom - or something
Frame bought a long time ago but was like $15.00.
Round ottoman $6.00 thrift store

Also-finally-goodbye to Periwinkle the puppy, he found his new home!
